Have You Ever...

Have you ever tried so hard to hold back a smile when you're alone in public because you were thinking of something really funny and you don't want people to think that you're crazy?

Have you ever had someone waving at your direction and you wonder whether he's waving at you or someone behind??

Does your mind automatically think of a thousand reasons not to go to school/work immediately after your alarm clock rings?

Have you ever felt so embarrassed that you would be happy if a UFO suddenly hovered above you and sucked you right in??

Have you ever felt like cutting off someone's pony tail?? (especially if it's bouncing up and down)

Have you ever felt so hungry that when you looked at the menu, you felt like ordering EVERYTHING??

Have you ever felt so sleepy in a car, fell asleep for 1 second before you knocked your head loudly on the window??

And last of all....

Have you ever had a dog SMILE at you???

No kidding.

Oh please tell me I'm normal.

Harry Potter and his Flowery Lorry

So after ten years of receiving the box set of the first four Harry Potter books as a present..I decided to start reading the fourth (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) just a couple of days back.

Yes, ten years and I only got to the fourth book. Forgive me Harry Potter fans!! I'm just not a big fan but i do enjoy reading the book!

I havent even finished half the book but I think I've been so into it while reading that its messing with my head!! I can understand why some people really LOVE Harry Potter and want to be a part of the wizardry world but I don't hope I become like you!

Why did I say its messing with my head?? Cos last night, I had a dream about it...and i can perfectly remember the details of the dream this morning...its weird cos I'm the type who can't remember most of my dreams.

After seeing the title of this blog post, I think you would wanna know what my dream was...hehehe

In the dream, I was a Hogwarts student..and Hogwarts looked too much like my college. ==
Anyway, in the dream, there was this giant snake thingy trying to harm us...

Dumbledore and I were walking up a flight of stairs when a square piece of the wall suddenly fell out and a lady Professor told us to gather all the juniors in the classroom upstairs into the room that she was in...Dumbledore left the task to me and told the professor to seal the wall when all the students were in there so the snake wouldn't find us...

So off I went to get the kiddies to gather in that room but some really stubborn ones didnt wanna budge. I still dunno why but I wasn't allowed to tell them what we were running away from.

After a hard time getting everyone in the room, (I was a Gryffindor and Ron, Hermione and Harry were my friends) the professor who was supposed to seal the wall was nowhere to be found!! I was holding a wand but I didn't know the spell to do so..the first thing that came to my mind was "expelliarmus" (is that from the book?) I wasn't sure whether it would work so I didn't try..(it would've probably exploded the place)

Suddenly, Harry Potter came running into the room all out of breath followed by Snape..Harry looked so scared so it made me unsure of whether Snape came to help us or to harm us
(cos u know even if he's one of the Professors he's got that scary look)..

But actually, it was neither. He was actually there to show off his body to us. Yes, show off his body. hahahaha. nice twist eh?

After Snape showing off his buff chest to us and all of his babbling on how his father treated him really well in his childhood bla bla bla...Harry finally told me why he was running..

He said that when Dumbledore announced for everyone to go hide in the classroom, he was worried of his car..and yea u guessed it right, his "car" was a lorry with flower print.
( see? my subconcious tells me Harry Potter is gay)

When he wanted to see if his "car" was hurt, he saw Snape running it down with a bulldozer! He got scared so he ran....

The End

Hehehe...silly dream I know.

But hey, why couldn't I have had an INCEPTION kind of dream after I watched the movie?? I was kinda hoping for one where I could build flying staircases and overlapping buildings or dream within a dream!! hmmph!

Okie, tatata! =)

teehee.

So remember! Next time if you were to buy yee mee to cook on someone's birthday, don't buy the Plain Jane yee mee!!

GCB!

GCB. Nope I'm not cursing and this isn't a new bad word. Though it does look as if it is a short form for a Chinese bad word if you don't already know that it's the new burger by McDonalds.

If I were to write an angry blog post and put GCB! at the end of a sentence, you would really think that its a bad word right? LOL
For example,

Yesterday, bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla! GCB! Sigh, after that, bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla ....bla bla bla bla bla bla !?!?!?! GCB!!!

hahaha. LameIknow.

Well anyway, back to the burger.....
This is how it looks like in its box..

The thing I'm confused about this burger is its name....thing is, a couple of months back, I saw the banner for this burger in one Mcd...and at that time, the banner said it was "Gourmet Chicken Burger". But now, I can't see the word "Gourmet" anywhere and apparently their having a contest to "Name the 'G' "
Some said that its called a "Grilled Chicken Burger".
Maybe the name "Gourmet Chicken Burger" was just for testing.
I don't care about the name as much as the taste though...

Click here to find out more about the contest!

And well if you haven't tried it yet, please go do so coz its for a limited time only and it tastes GOOD! not great but capital lettered GOOD! hahhaa..means its almost great. :P

But don't take my word for it though coz u might think it tastes GREAT...like they say, "deliciousness is in the tongue of the beholder"...wait..they don't? =D

Its Rm8.00 for burger only and Rm11.90 for the medium set = burger+drink+fries.
(of course, the price mentioned here doesn't include Gov tax)

Oh and you know what??
I found a company that actually trades these burgers..

No?

Okie dokie...Don't forget to try the burger!!!! =D

LRT Super Stars

Has it become a trend lately to sing out loud in the train?? Do all music talent scouts look for talent in trains nowadays?? heehee

I'm saying this cos a few weeks back this African guy was singing a NeYo song in the train and he sounded like a tone deaf Akon....it was probably cos he had earphones plugged in his ears!!! He probably can sing really well without the earphones...

Then a few days back....there was this guy standing in the train. He was wearing earphones too. This one was even more funny.....I couldn't make out what song he was singing until he got to the chorus: "Oh oh oh oh oh oh OMG" (Usher's OMG) hhahhaaha. He was singing in a kinda whispering voice which was something like Smeagol/Gollum from Lord of The Rings saying, "Precioussssss.."

Well anyway, he was quite entertaining cos he looked like he was acting out his own Music Video with the use of the 'tiangs" in the train.

I couldn't help but notice that people in the train were holding back their smiles.

"Singing and dancing releases stress"

Don't you think we need more people like this to entertain us??
The world is too stressed up!! Governments should employ some of these people to reduce everyone's morning tension of going to work...

I don't mean to be mean but I'm just sayin'....teehee

Oh and PS:

Hey, if you're one of those people who burst out loud in song and dance at public places...why not sing without the earphones?? I think you would sound much better.. And if I see you, I promise I'll clap my hands when you're done!!! =D

Seriously.

Teacher, teacher....

Last Saturday, I was asked to stand in for a tuition class at this place I used to teach in. I was to take the class with kids aged around 5-7 years old. I agreed since I had no plans for that day.

One thing I realised after was that I didn't even own a red pen anymore!! And to think that i used to have 2 or 3 in my pencil box.....

Well, anyway, i was expecting to see some familiar faces when I went there on Saturday since I've not taught there for more than half a year.

The first familiar face I saw was a little boy named Eugene(He was one of my students in 2009).He's eight years old if I'm not mistaken and he was such a darling!! When he saw me, he was like, "Ay, Teacher Evie!". So i said, "Hello Eugene, how are you?" Then he said, "I'm fine! Teacher, why you so long didn't come here already wan?? You very busy ar??"
=D

Then after that, I bumped into a few more of my ex-students and this boy was like, "Teacher Evie!!! why you so long didn't come???" and he started telling his friends excited and all, "Teacher Evie hui lai liao! Teacher Evie hui lai liao!!" (it means Teacher Evie has come back)

Hahaha. Such diamonds!!!

I didn't really expect such a response from those who recognize me cos after all, their just kids!! I kinda expected them to be all shy and all that and only say hi when I say hi...

Maybe I was thinking how kids during MY time would've reacted...I guess times have changed and....and.....children are more outspoken?? LOL

Well anyway, I had to teach some new students and there was this little girl who was only 5 years old. SHE WAS SOO SOOOO CUTE!!! I kinda curi-curi took a picture of her but in the picture you can't exactly see her face so no identities have been revealed!!! LOL

Isn't she a cutie?? No??

In this picture, she was kneeling on the chair actually.....Not only does she look cute, her personality was cute too. Very loveable kid!!

So anyway, it was nice to teach that day after about half a year of not teaching ....it made me look back to the time when I used to teach every Saturday....=D

Oh and ya,

The kids that said hi when they saw me??? Those were the ones that I used to punish the most cos they were tooo tooooo naughty in class. :DD

Kkkk tatata!!!

Sing a song of sixpence..

So I was wondering..... you know how our parents maksudnya the older generation don't get tired of the songs they've been listening to since they were...they were...erm.....since FOREVER???? Not your parents?? well, i'm speaking for the young society at large. ;D

You know, like they never get tired of old music? Like those who refuse to listen to newer music?? Those who stick to evergreen? I wonder...what makes a song evergreen? Can One Republic's Apologize be evergreen??(fyi, many people like that song if you were living in Mars recently)

Its funny cos I'm already kinda sick of listening to some oldies play on the radio and I'm VERY sure that I've listened to it FEWER times compared to dear beloved parent.

Are you and me on the same boat? :D yes? no? maybe?

The thing is...I was wondering...
When my generation grows old and we have children of our own...will our children be saying this about us too?? LOL
Will they say...."Haih, these old people....can't let go of their past. Come on la...I'm so sick of this Lady Gaga and Black Eyed Peas!!"

And as my imagination wanders even further...I think they might say this too.."You know what???Last time when my parents were young, they had these things called EARPHONES!! Seriously! I've seen pictures of these earphone thingys on the internet and they look sooo funnyy!!! Can u imagine they used to stuff those things in their ears just to listen to music?? We're so lucky we have these state of the art implanted sensors in our brain and we just have to connect them wireless.." =='

Okie..

One day, Charles went to Ah Beng's food stall. This was how their conversation went.

Ah Beng: You want to eat fry lice?

Charles: Oh no no no. Its not 'fry lice'. Lice is kutu. Its rrrrrrrrrrrrr-ice, rice. Not lice.

Ah Beng: Ohhh.ok ok. rrrrrrrrrrrrice. Collect ar?

Ah Beng: Ohohoho. Corrrrect. Correct ar? Hahahahaa. Solly solly my Engrish no good.

Charles: Yes yes correct. But its not 'solly'. Its 'sorry'. And its English not 'Engrish'. Hehehe.

Ah Beng: Aiyor. Engrish so dipiculd la. Nemermine la. You understand me then enough lor. Haih. Oh ya, jes now I ask you want to eat frrrrrrried rrrrrrrrrrrrice or not. Corrrrrrrrect or not now??? Hee hee hee.

Ah Beng: Ok boss!!

10 minutes later.

Ah Beng: Here boss! Your fly lice, friend flies and orling juud!

Ah Beng: oops! Haih. Engrish really belly hard la. *shakes head in disappointment

Cool cool cool!!!

You know what?? I won another contest!!! Woooot!!

hehehe. I've been winning many contests lately!! I'm on a winning streak!!! hee hee hee

I should go find a contest that can win me a car. :)

This lady called me today and told me I won the msn.com contest for the movie Letters to Juliet.

It's the grand prize but it isn't very grand. Its just a bag but...who's complaining?!?! LoL

I would like to think that it was my slogan that played the bigger role in winning rather than luck. :D

You see, in this contest you have to answer two simple questions and write a slogan. The slogan had to be a letter about love that you would write to Juliet and in less than 50 words.

This is how my prize should look like (I haven't gone to collect it yet):
Yea, not very GRAND for a Grand Prize huh.

So here's the letter I submitted......

Dear Juliet,

I have been in search for that special someone since forever. I have tossed coins into wishing wells and wished upon shooting stars but he never seems to cross my path. Oh Juliet, tell me, is true love just never meant to be for me?

I made that letter up but really hope I won't ever need to resort to 'tossing coins into wishing wells' and 'wishing upon shooting stars'. teehee

That's all for now!

Goo.bye!

This Wall...

Help me.
Help me break this wall.
This wall built with fear. Built with uncertainty. Built with insecurity.
Help me be all that I should be and wash away all that I should not.
Help me feel all that I should feel and say all that I should say.
Help me bring out the best in me.

At a time like this, anyone could Use Somebody.
Don't take too long.

Life. Full off crossroads, full of decisions to be made.
That one call that should have been made. That one minute more that you should have waited. That one upward curve of the lips you should have seen.

Life. Such precise timing. Perfect timing for the good things. It never forgets the bad things.
That one mistake that should have been made that could've fixed things.
That one wrong turning into a path you thought was the wrong way when in fact at the end of the road, you find that you escaped something you didn't want on the other.

The many questions you asked. The many different answers you thought might be right. The many people you've seen. The many people that came and went. The people that made the best things happen.

Feng Shui Showdown!! Part 2

The rules of the game were like this:

1. We cannot secretly or in the open alter the other person's house feng shui and we can only
change the feng shui in our own premises.

2. All activities regarding feng shui must be done within the one week.

3. On the last day of the week, we will employ two renowned feng shui masters in Malaysia to
evaluate our houses to see who has the most good vibes and the person with the most good
vibes will win and the loser will have to foot the bill for employing the masters.

And so our Feng Shui frenzie began....

Day 1

Madam Smelly hung angpao packets with coins in it all over her garden plants and the angpao packets had a "luck" word in chinese on it.

What did i do?

I did some spring cleaning. Actually i don't know shit about feng shui. I just knew dat the colour red is preferred. Thats all I know. So i decided to guess my way through the competition. Its not dat i believe that the physical changes are really gonna bring in luck!
Anyways, It was almost the end of the year and my house looked a mess so I might as well clean my house up, and at the same time it might generate some good 'chi'!.

Day 2

What did she do??

She bought a dozen fat goldfish to add to the other dozen of goldfish she already has to bring in prosperity. Sheesh.

So I had to do something.
What did I do?

I bought a dozen crunchie chocolate bars. WHAT? I didn know what to do wat. Crunchie inside got honeycomb mah. Honeycomb look like gold bar inside wat. haiya. tasty somemore.

Day 3

Wah! You know what she did???? She bought all sorts of little statues and hanging things to decorate her house! Made her house look so UGLY!!!! I practically laughed at her when I saw what she was doing!

What did i do???

I didn do anything.
No. Actually i didn know what to do.
No actually i was too tired laughing at her all day.

Day 4 & Day 5

Whatever she did she did inside. I did not see her for these two days.
I didnt do much either.
Oh and another thing. I had a visitor come to my house. He was a friend of my uncle who is my father's brother in law's friend's grandfather's third wife's ex-boyfriend's brother. He was some sort of feng shui master apparently.

Well, he stepped into my house and said that the house next door's good vibes were overpowering us. He said that we were lucky to have such a neighbour as some of the goodness will come to our house.
he obviously didn't know we were competing!

I couldn't live off her scraps of luck!!!

I HAD TO DO SOMETHING! AND QUICK!!!

This was when it dawned on me that this feng shui stuff actually does work.

I did the unthinkable. I went to the extend of painting my house YELLOW!
Yup! yellow. So my house would be 'wong'. hehehe genius eh????

BUT MRS COPYCAT NEXT DOOR COPIED ME!!!!!!

She didn't paint her house in yellow but she painted it red! R-E-D!
She said it would make her house have 'ong' =.='

Darn it. It was the last day of our battle so there was little i could do to win.
I knew I was gonna lose so i prepared to pay for the feng shui master fees. :'-(

OOH BUT WHAT DO I KNOW?

When the feng shui masters Miss Lillian Three and Mr Joey Nope came over to examine our houses, they decided to start with Mdm Smelly's.
I was so sure that i was gonna loose that I didnt care if they even came to my house.
Miss Three and Mr Nope were showering Mdm Smelly with so much praises that my face fell another two more feet.

SO when they finally decided to come to my house...........nyehehehehe.......

FIRST, Miss Three said,
WAAHHHH! SO 'WONG' !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So i became defensive and said,
EH???? I LIKE YELLOW OK?! I THINK MY HOUSE LOOKS NICE!

Then she said,
Nononono. I don't mean it that way. Your house is really 'wong'.

Then Mr Joey Nope said,
WAH REALLY LAH!!!! ACCORDING TO MY CLOCK-LIKE-THINGY-THAT-FENGSHUI-PEOPLE-USE-DEVICE, Your house is exploding with luck!!!

Then I said,
Did See Mel Li pay you to say this just to mock me?!?!?!

Well whadyaknow???

They both said,
WE NOW DECLARE THIS HOUSE AS THE WINNER!

woohoooo!!!!!! I Immediately did a back flip forward flip double somersaults+triple cart wheels. let out a victorious fart and said to Mdm Smelly, "would you kindly please make the payment to these two wonderful people as they are very busy." :-D

Mdm Smelly immediately pengsan-ed into her goldfish pond.

So i took the chance to take the two masters secretly aside, and said, "tell me. who payed you two to help me? There is no way I could have possibly won this."
they said, " no Miss you won this fair and square. We have never before seen a house like yours. So much luck pouring out from inside that we didn't even need to go into your house to know who would win. I really can't explain why. I think i should go home to read my super thick and dusty 52 inch thick feng shui book to find the answer. Good luck to u. no me. u obviously don't need anymore of it. "

So i bid them farewell and started to wonder myself.......
what could've caused so much good energy from inside???
oh i left the woman soaking in her pond.. Don't worry, she couldn't possibly have drowned. The pond's small and she knows how to swim.

Anyways, when i stepped into the house, I was greeted by all my family members and 88 phones staring at me....

Huh??

"whats' going on?" "why the feng shui masters said our house so 'wong'? did u guys do something?"

"hee hee hee hee hee hee hee. you owe us." " look at all these phones here. what do they all have in common?"

"er....they all have buttons, 1,2,3,4,5,6..."

"no stupid! look at the screens!"

"oh.....er...i see...

DIGI!!!!

My house SUPER 'WONG' because i had 88 yellow men secretly dancing in my house!!!

MWAHAHAHAHAA! why didn't i think of that????

Now i have to return 88 phones to the 88 Digi subscribers who so kindly lent me their phones....

This story was not based on a true story so if something this absurd ever happened to you in your life I congratulate you but don't sue me cos I don't know you and this was created by imagination. I don't know you. Thank you very much for reading until here.

Okie!

Feng Shui Showdown!!! Part 1

Here, before I begin, here is a silly story that I enjoyed writing so much. Enjoy!

I live next to Mdm See Mel Li. I call her Mdm Smelly. Mdm Smelly is obsessed with Feng Shui. Yea like REALLY obessesed!

She doesnt let me sun my shoes with the direction of the shoes facing her house and she doesnt let me dry my mop at the pagar which separates our houses.

One day, my balcony was under renovation so i had no choice but to sun my whole family's underwear and socks at the outside porch. Mdm Smelly said to me as i was clipping an underwear onto the drying line.....

Smelly: "Woi Girl!!, what are you doing?!?!"

Me : Auntie See! You cannot SEE what i am doing ah? hahaha!

Smelly: You don't try to be funny with me. You are sunning your panties!!

Me : Kaching! Congratulations auntie! U guessed correctly!!!! You have won 1 year's supply of toothpaste!

Smelly: Stupid girl donno what they teach you in school nowadays. I mean you cannot sun your panties here out in the open! It will affect this area's feng shui! You "sui" enough lar don't make me "sui" also!!

Me: Heh! I can sun anything i want in my house!!! I can even buy a coffin and face it to your house!!!!!

Smelly: How dare you!!!!!!

So auntie smelly, stormed into her house, took all her bras and panties, hung it on the pagar facing my house. then our next conversation began....

Me: Wah auntie, i didn know you were so 'sexy' inside all the time. hehehehe

Smelly: This is my daughter's. And I'm doing this so I can generate back the bad luck you are passing to me through your family's underwear to your house!!

Me: Whatever la auntie. U think you are so good in feng shui....

Smelly: What?! I'm good wat!

And so she challenged me to a FENG SHUI SHOWDOWN!!!!!

Being the person that I am, i accepted the challenge.

The challenge was that the both of us would use 1 week's time to do whatever we can to improve our house's feng shui.

Then after 1 week, we would invite two famous feng shui masters to evaluate both our house's good vibes. The person with the most good vibes in the house would win the challenge.

If she won, I would have to abide by her feng shui 'rules' for the rest of our lives and if i won, she was never to practice feng shui again.

to be continued...

till next time.

Arrrrgh!! You Smell Too Good!!!

Today I was in the bus as usual... and this lady suddenly shifted from her seat to sit next to me so I realized that she didn't wanna sit next to another lady who kept coughing. Ok fine.

But you know what????

She put tooooo much perfume!!! I was thinking..she shoudn't need to worry about the coughing lady coz the amount of of perfume she used would be enough to disinfect the air!!

I almost died sitting next to her!!! okla, over exaggerating.

Well anyway, I'm not kidding when I said 'enough to disinfect air'. I don't know how perfume would ever be able to disinfect air, but the amount she put on really made me feel it could..

It was as if she soaked her clothes in perfume before letting them dry. Or it was as if she jumped into a giant tub of perfume every morning. Can't she smell herself???? Is it even healthy to put on so much perfume???? Hahahaha

As I gather, some women spray on some perfume so that they can attract guys....but if that was her intention, then it was a massive FAIL! I'm not a guy but even if I was an ant, I wouldn't go near her for my own safety. Flies literally dropped dead around her.

No la..This is just a product of my imagination. hahaha

This reminds me...when I was in secondary school, I had to wait at the bus stop for the bus and sometimes, there would be a bunch of Jusco workers waiting for their bus. And WOOH! i would experience the same thing...

but imagine..about ten fully perfumed Jusco ladies standing around you!!!
THE HORROR!!!

I wonder.....was it in their appointment letter to "apply generous amount of perfume in order to avoid stinking customers away"....

Not only their perfume but I also couldn't help but notice that they all hide under 1 mile thick of make up!!

and that gets me wondering again...was it in their appointment letter that " those who did not pass the basic beauty assessment are required to hide their actual faces under at least 1 ton of make up to avoid scaring customers away".

sorry if you feel that I'm being mean but I just can't help my imagination sometimes...HAHAHAHAHA. XD

Maybe, just maybe, a portion of the world's air pollution is caused by exessive use of perfume....
OR maybe, just maybe, perfume can be used to kill certain viruses...

heeheehee..

oh and ya,

MR SCIENTIST, if you ever read this and conduct an experiment and find that perfumes do kill certain viruses....... no need to give me money lar...just name the discovery after me.
Teehee :D

You Drive Me Crazy

No no no no this post is not about a guy I've fallen in love with and is crazy over...LOL

This post is about something that literally almost drove me all the way to the home for bonkers..

Have you ever played with one of those maze thingys with little balls that drive you crazy coz u can't solve it???? This particular one that happened to cross my path almost drove me crazy on a few different occasions. Each time I can't solve it and give up, I try to make it dissappear...but I don't know how, I'll see it again!

So anyway, here's how it looks like.

See the big ball in the middle?? You're supposed to make it stand on a little hole and then the little balls are supposed to stand on their little holes AROUND the big ball. (the big ball can't come out of the round space).

The first thing you gotta do is position the big ball so it doesn't disturb the others. (and that's freaking hard to do!!! that alone can cause you to pull out all your hair!)
So the thing is, you have to position a small ball in the innermost hole first so you don't block the way for the others. And...when a small ball accidentally 'stands' on a small hole that doesn't belong to it....you have to try to get it out right????so u gotta tap it a bit right???? YEA! AND THE FREAKING BIG BALL WILL COME OFF ITS HOLE!!!

So anyway...in that picture up there...one day, i managed to get 5 small balls in their position and was soo happy cos that was the best i ever did so far...

and then....

I managed to position 6 balls!!

And then...
SEVEN!!

AND drumroll...............................

LAPAN!!!!
WOHOOO~ Gembira!!

Tell you.....I was soooo soooo soooo happy that day!!! Its like, one item ticked of my list of things to accomplish!!

Now I can look at it without going crazeeee!!!!

Oh and ya,

For the a**hole genius that invented this.......

Autumn's Concerto! aka Next Stop, Happiness(下一站,幸福)

Woopeee!!!

But before i go any further...Autumn's Concerto is a Taiwanese drama by Vaness Wu and Ady An. So actually, the reason I so wanted to watch this drama was cos I heard the O-So-Wonderpul punya OST by singer Ding Dang on the TV(song name:I love him我爱他). Their showing it on Tv now but I dunno which channel.:)

The reason why I'm so happy is cos the site I found is actually a fan sub website. It means that they help put English subtitles to each episode..wooooo...gembiranya...
If you don't already know...I'm a 'banana' atau juga dikenali sebagai OCBC(Orang Cina Bukan Cina). Which means that my Chinese is very limited(its getting better though). This means that when I watch a Chinese drama, I only understand what is said half the time..and lebih teruk when the Taiwanese dramas start to speak in Hokkien in some scenes. When this happens..question marks hover above my head and my eyes search frantically at the Chinese subtitles below for the very limited Chinese characters I can read.

But fear no more!!! hahaha..I found this wonderful site!!! its called

This is a screenshot of the website..

I actually found this site from youtube cos they put their subbed videos there too..So I'll watch it on YOUTUBE! (I just wanted to feature their website in this blog cos I feel so thankful to them)(heart) =D

I'm not actually a drama addict though...cos I've only ever finished watching very few dramas in my life...(I have what I call, selective temporary drama addiction)...So these are the very few lucky ones I've watched (including one Anime):

It started with a kiss

Nodame Cantabile

Nodame Cantabile(the only Anime I've actually finished watching)

And now halfway watching:

Fated to Love You

You know, watching this drama is taking up alot of my time needed to practice piano, to do assignments, AND sleeping time..I'm currently retiring from this drama for a few days..yea seriously I have to force myself...LOL But I will DEFINITELY finish watching it.

Right now, I have to get to work with my assignments...
oh and ya! I think I'm gonna try to learn how to play the OST for Autumn's Concerto on piano!

Will let you guys know when I really do and have a video of it!

After I watch Autumn's Concerto, I'll def review it here!!

Cute Grannies

I was in the bus today on the way home and two old ladies sat behind me. One was Chinese and the other Indian.

As I felt, they're Hi-Bye friends that met on the bus cos they live near each other.

They both work as house cleaners. Their convo went something like that:

CG = Chinese Granny
IG = Indian Granny

IG : Sikarang you masi ada cuci rumah ka??

CG : Ada! U?

IG : Ada tapi saya sikarang cuci dua hari, tiga hari tada keja. I duduk dalam rumah
tada apa mau buat oh. Sikarang u cuci mana rumah?

CG : I cuci semua orang Jepun orang Putih mia. Dia orang lebih baik o. Tada fussy
sangat. Saya tak suka cuci orang Cina mia rumah. Kalau ada orang cari orang
cuci you mau keja kah?

IG : Mau! Apa orang pun boleh tapi saya tak mau orng India! Teruk o. You cuci orang
Jepun mia rumah you cakap orang putih ar?

CG : Ya, orang putih mia rumah pun I cakap orang putih.

IG : Wah u tau cakap a?

CG : Tau! Sikit sikit la.

IG : Very good!

Hahaha.. the reason I found this conversation cute was that the Chinese lady doesn't like working for Chinese employers and the Indian lady doesn't like working for Indian employers. HAHAHAH

The way they talked and their voices were cute tooo...:D

Their conversation didn't end there though...i lost interest after awhile..
boy these two can really talk! They talked till the cows came home and the mosquitoes went to sleep.. hahaha that's over exaggerating.

Actually with the right company i can talk on and on and on and on too...:D

Today

Today, somebody said to me the most hurtful thing I've heard in a long time. It was a really good friend of mine. I'm not gonna say what she said cos actually she's quite poor in expressing herself in words and i would say that her way of thinking is sometimes childish too so she probably didn't mean it as much as I felt it...AND she seemed oblivious to how I felt at that time...so..

But if i say she's childish, does that mean I'm being childish to get hurt with what she said??? I don't know..but maybe i was hurt because she's a really close friend and you get hurt more by people that your close to right? right? I don't know.

The feeling that hit when she said it....I've never felt for so long...it was like someone dropped a rock on my heart and my heart fell close to my stomach... :s Any heavier the rock, my stomach would digest my heart...

Yea, like this.

Today was not a good day at all... :(
I'm trying to 'cancel cancel go away the feeling'.
She really has no clue to what I felt....
No point dwelling over something sad right????
Need to chant...*chants:
I'm too noble to be angry I'm too noble to be angry....
I'm too happy to be sad I'm too happy to be sad....
Everything will be ok....

1 Malaysia Accident...

Two days ago on tuesday morning, I thought I was gonna be good and left the home a tad earlier to avoid being late for class.

When I almost reached the bus stop, a bus passed right in front of me..so kira I missed the bus..
Then i thought, ok...nvm...i'll wait for the next bus..but whaddya know??? The bus didnt wanna stop for me coz it was too full!! So much for being early..=.=

So I guess it was memang ditakdirkan that i saw a 1 Malaysia accident a few minutes later. hahahaha
It wasnt a bad accident lar (i mean nobody got hurt), I'm not so insensitive to go hahaha at an accident ok??
I was sitting at the bus stop and then suddenly i heard a BANG! and when I looked over, I saw a lorry run over something and I heard a CRAK CRAK CRAK...:S My first thought was...shit pls dont let that be a motorcyclist he just ran over...

But luckily, it wasnt. The lorry kinda hit a red saga head on coz the saga probably made a sudden turn...a lady told me that the lorry hit and dragged the saga backwards a little. And all this happened in front of a primary school near the zebra crossing at a time when everyone was going to school. Lucky lucky lukcy no one was hurt..

The funny thing was, there was a small kancil right behind the lorry and a waja behind the kancil...the kancil didnt even have one scratch but the waja's front lights were smashed...I still wonder how that happened to the waja..lol

The reason I said this was a 1 Malaysia accident was because the lorry driver was Indian, the Saga a Chinese and the Waja a Malay...when everyone started to get down to check their cars, In my heart I was like...pls pls pleeeease don't fight!!!
wooh, lucky they didnt fight...yea, kemalangan but i keep saying 'lucky'. LOL

The police reached quite fast in fact cos the road was all jammed up cos the lorry was literally sticking to the red saga now... I was like..great.Now I'll be really late..
Oh welll..I'm not one who stresses over a small thing like that anyway...

Oh and when I was sitting at the bus stop, dues to the jam, a lady driving a car accidentally bumped the car in front of her( you know, one of those bumps which wouldnt even cause a scratch?) yea, and this guy wearing a songkok got down of his car and looked at his precious OLD car and started cursing under his breath...you would think a man that looked like him with songkok and all would be a very sabar person but obviously no(oh and his wife and kids were in the car too). It wasnt like the lady didn't apologize or anything...in fact, even her husband on the passenger side was also apologizing... if I'm not mistaken, the songkok guy muttered 'babi' before getting into his car...

Before he got into his car I was like...dont tell me the big accident over there didn't cause a fight but this one here is gonna cause one. LOL.

Sometimes, I just don't understand why people get so worked up and angry over a small accident. Accident mah, nobody wanted it to happen, so no point getting angry hor??

I'm blabering too much already...hee hee hee.

Anyway, I would just like to thank all those who were involved in that lorry-car accident for dealing with the matter like all civilized people should....

:)

Till next time!!

why Why WHY?!?!

Yesterday was the first day of a new semester in college after an almost month long break. It was the longest break for us cos usually we only have a 2 week break.
The thing was, i thought that class was supposed to start next week so i thought i had 7 more days of free time.. :( well...u know what they say...
GIVE YOU AN INCH YOU WANT A YARD!
hahaha

Anyway, i did go to college...AND i wasnt late!! hahahahahahaha(new semester resolution) ;D
Lets see....the first day of class after a month was YAWN boring YAWN. The first class was supposed to start at 11am and the lecturer's name was so called 'econs'. Yah! "econs"?!?! i wont believe this until the lecturer him/herself tells us that thats really his or her name. Anyway, it was SUPPOSED to be at 11am but it got postponed to somewhere in the future dunno when.

so we lepak-ed till 1.30 and the second class was...YAWN YAWN YAWN. (i think i had post holiday syndrom). haahahhha

well anyway, i wasnt concentrating as usual and what u expect???first day mah..i'm a bit different, other ppl bersemangat to study, i'm yawning all day long. hahahah
Mr. Lecturer decided to ask us questions at the end of the class.. How wonderful! not.
he let us read a few minutes and started to ask us questions. (i was like, feck it la i wont rmb a crap)
I was quite confident that i wudnt get picked but i was wrong. :(

You see, my friend was having difficulty answering a question she was called for...a kind hearted person behind me whispered the answer to me and so i was whispering it to her and the lecturer said, "Ah...Evie!" crapness. But nermermine la i just said that answer and saved the world. hahhaah . so over. or is it so clever? for being caught. hahahah
well anyway, today was also boring. biasalah studies right....not drama class or something. hahaha.
but hey...i yawned less! thats what i call an improvement!
teehee.

so anyway during the first class, when i got my notes, i was like...."Oh mummy pls help me!!" STATISTICS?!?!?!? WHYYYYYYYY????? :'( i hate numbers/graphs and stuff like that. i naturally suck at it and what more after one month of minimal brain juice usage?????

Today's lesson was boring though..(it always is isnt it? lol) I as usual could not concentrate and was sms-ing my brother. I did not gain nothing tho cos now i have developed the skill of typing on a phone keypad with two fingers from one hand while pretending to look at the notes and listen to the lecturer PLUS my phone had no light.(need to get it fixed b4 my neck gets stuck at a weird angle while trying to see the screen.)

My brother was gonna take his driving undang test so my first message was actually to wish him good luck. I ended up sms-ing him from when he just left the driving school till until he reached the exam centre... :D

In the second class, the lecturer had no notes to give us at the moment so i couldnt look down and pretend to look at my notes. :( i had to use my natural born talent of gazing into space. hahhaa. i was so un-concentrated (or dis-concentrated?? LOL) today dat for the first class, my friend had to flip the page for me. hahahah other ppl's pages all colourful except mine. :) WHAT??? sometimes hor, evrybody like to simply highlight everything and end up highlighting the whole page. =='

class ended at around 12+, lepaked around and reached home at around 3+ and took a long awaited and dued for AFTERNOON NAP that ended up to be evening nap instead. heheheh. gembiranya.
hmmmph....tomorow will be another wake up b4 the sun comes out day. :(
yawning for tomoro already...:O

but on the bright side...i'll being going to SUNGAI WANG after class tomoro!!! wonder what we gonna have for lunch? :d oh food..how i love you... :) heeheehee.

oh and,
PS: Darling brother of mine passed his test!!! he got the same marks as me for when i took it. =D Panailor!!!
